Just So You Know

Hi, friends! Let’s do something a bit more fun today. Let’s gist. I won’t be tying things together this time. The conclusion of the post will be: Visit our website

Think of me as an old friend sending you a letter to update you on my life. As I hope you know by now, gayism is my way of life.

Are you ready for a bunch of random Ghanaian LGBTQ+ facts? Just in case you didn’t believe me when I said We Have The Receipts, watch this space.

In 2011, a member of parliament ordered the arrest of gay people in the Western Region. Paul Evans Aidoo MP, sent the Bureau of National Investigations on a homophobic witch-hunt, encouraging them, other security agencies and even landlords to report suspected homosexuals to the police. Unsurprisingly, this was a few days after the Christian Council cautioned Ghanaians to vote against any politician who supports the rights of LGBTQ+ people. "All efforts are being made to get rid of these people in the society", he announced. Read all about it here

The front page of The Finder in 2014 read “30,000 GAYS IN GHANA”. The Director-General of the Ghana Aids Commission, Dr Angela El-Adas shared that 17% of the 30,000 gays are persons living with HIV. This headline was discussed by the host and two, of course, homophobes on JoyPrime’s AM Talk. This bald-headed grown ass man put his hand on his chest and said “We stand at risk as young ones”. I couldn’t believe my ears. The host responded with “At this your age, nobody can persuade you…”. Need I say more? Watch the interview right here.

There have been at least three national prayer rallies against the LGBTQ+ community in Ghana. Last time I checked I was alive. How about you guys? Yeah. Here’s the advert for the “Dynamic 3-day Fast” and the First National Republic Day Prayer Chain and Vigil. I’m so sure that’s Foh Amoaning’s voice in the video. Is it his life purpose’s to be an opp or what? It has to be him. Listen and let me know who you hear.

I just spent four hundred cedis on data and I’m itching. I’m always thinking about money because it’s now so important and also not enough. Could someone explain to me why so many people seem to think gay people are rich? That some national LGBTQ committee is touring the world, or Africa, indirectly ruling countries one gay law at a time. The white people have been indirectly ruling African countries for some time now. Why do homophobes suddenly care? :) A Daily Guide headline from January 7th, 2019 read “No Gay Cash For National Cathedral”. The Secretariat of the National Cathedral of course swiftly dispelled the rumour in a statement: “The secretariat has not received any such donation from the so-called Gay Community.” Um? Rude. We’re not a fairytale, and we know more about community than you ever will.

Before I get upset, let me close today’s post lol this is a sneak peak, after all. You know what to do. You’re reading this post on our website, so you’re where you need to be. Have fun, type anything in the search bar and I’m sure you’ll learn something new.
